We released version 5.0.91 yesterday. We fixed minor login page bug, few reports bugs and issues, and improved logging. It is available for download and can be seen at Polar Help Desk 5 demo, our development help desk.
Polar Help Desk 5.0.90
Polar Help Desk 5.0.90 is released. We fixed few minor bugs including one with language labels, and bug with work order templates. In previous version 5.0.87 we improved performance of reports which deal with more than 50,000 incidents and fixed minor bug with navigation caching.

Polar Help Desk 5 Upgrade Info
Last few days we received many questions about upgrading to Polar Help Desk 5 from our Polar Help Desk 4 customers. The only thing we can say at this moment is that we haven’t decided about price for upgrading. Version with upgrade tool is available now only on request at support@polarsoftware.com for customers who would like to try it and test it for themselves.
We have tested upgrade tool on many Polar Help Desk 4 databases – those are available to us from our customers and from our own testing system. This Polar Help Desk version 5.0.76 is the result of fixing bugs in upgrade tool which appeared after last release.
Polar Help Desk 5 Released!
Polar Help Desk 5 is out of beta stage of development. Since Dec 12th 2009, we had a dozen minor releases, mostly with bug fixes and light feature improvements. We will continue to release improved software more frequently in future.
Last 15 days we have focused on testing the upgrade tool intensely so that our customers might be able to securely upgrade Polar Help Desk 4 to improved Polar Help Desk 5 software.
At this moment, upgrade to Polar Help Desk 5 is available only on request at support@polarsoftware.com. We expect to offer upgrade in our shop in few days.
